Forever! Imagine my surprise and delight to see some Chaska High School students gathered at the Wild Rumpus book store in Minneapolis, as well! After hearing Maggie address the crowd in the first few minutes of her presentation, I could easily see how she is such a super writer - she is a major story teller! She shared several humorous anecdotes with us, including a fascinating story of how she traveled to Hungary to spend time with wolves trained for movies. She arrived in Minnesota in her infamous blue Camaro with
Shiver license plates as she traveled the country on her book tour "road trip" with author friend, Tessa Gratton. Gave her a copy of this posted photo I took of her book "lingering" in the paws of the bronze wolf sculpture at the MN Landscape Arboretum. Definitely looking forward to having brunch with Maggie at the upcoming AASL Conference in Minneapolis in October.
